Tranny rebuild? FAHHGEDDABOWDID!

I just received my new trans, got a great deal from Curry Acura ($1669+$45 shipping)

Needless to say, I'm one happy individual.

The old one needs synchros 3rd and 5th, and it pops out of 5th gear while cruising, so I assume it needs a balk ring and maybe a gear selector fork..Either way, I don't have time to **** around with it, so I'll put the new one in and I'll fix the old one when I get some free time...

and then probably sell it to some lucky civic owner...

Dealer price is $2300, but most dealers don't have it and are not intersted in getting it. Curry sells about 1 of these a week. I was lucky to get one before they're gone...

Well, I'm going to fight the temptation to try to best my 12.6 run....if I can..

Basically I've reached my goals, I think now it's time to just enjoy driving the car.
