Default Geico Insurance

Alright, I just gave my Daily Driver LS to my sister cause she needs a car.

My Insurance only decreased by $10 dollars/ 6 month premium? Geico claims that it's the multi-car discount... I mean WTF

Type R remain full coverage, like what I had before. Type R is now full time... YES!

Curious to know what your premiums are. Geico quoted me over double* what I pay with State Farm to cover my fleet back when I had the Hype R.

* For close-to-equivalent coverage. I have some coverages with State Farm that Geico could not/would not match.

Wow cause Geico quoted me about 1/2 what I am now paying with Progressive for the SAME coverage. My premiums went from ~1400 to about 750 if I switch.

<-- Makes note to call Geico for an insurance quote.

NHIC, a small Co that offers good rates and service. My broker found them for me,, she busted her *** to get me a Ins Co in NJ. So many don't write new policies for NJ..

Geico offered me the best deal out of anyone through my credit union, and they're covering all the aftermarket junk on my Integra as well.

Wait till Geico actually has to pay out for damages and whatnot though.

They suck ***. I can't wait till my 6 month policy is over so that I can move on to State Farm or Allstate. I'm willing to pay a bit more (50-100 dollar difference) for better service if something does go wrong.

**** Geico.

Jeez those rate are high as hell. But yes, multi car discount makes a difference.

<= 20 yrs old, 98 GSR (full coverage) and 88 Civic (liab), no points, on my own policy on AAA and paying about $1500 a year This is without the "good student" discount (cuz i fuxord my grades )
And I live in So Cal.

I just recently switched over from State Farm because I was paying about $2500 a year over there. (and I was on my parents account and my name wasn't even on the GSR )

29, two cars, and I pay $1600/year with Geico, full coverage on both cars.

Only reason I'm with Geico, is State Farm wouldn't take me 4 years ago because of a ticket in '98.

I'm happy with the coverages and with what I'm paying, but I have no experience as far as what happens if I have to file a claim.

$710/6 months with Gieco. Full covered, $250 deductable, all that good stuff.

Next cheapest was progressive at 850, then the rest were all over $1200/6months.
