What I'll be driving to the explo..."Pimp My Ride Baby"
Hmmmm - nearly 6 years I've been driving to and from events and to work in the R. Two years ago, I bought an old rust bucket to save my R a little...
Last weekend, I put the Honda to sleep by trading it in on a little bit bigger machine as I prepare to get my club racing license this year -----
No more driving the R to the events. I'll be big Pimp'n
6.0 liters of fun = 335hp / 375tq

Now I can drive my wife's kaa while she takes the big machine to work!

me likey!!

They're great trucks.
What year is it? They seem to lose close to half their value after about 3 years from what I've seen.

Nice SUV (one of my sales reps has one), but you need to check into this recall:
Manufacturer : GENERAL MOTORS CORP.
NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number : 05V043000 Recall Date : FEB 04, 2005
Component: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC
Potential Number Of Units Affected : 155465
Summary:
CERTAIN TRUCKS, SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, AND VANS EQUIPPED WITH BOSCH HYDRO-BOOST BRAKE ASSEMBLIES, THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE BOOSTER PRESSURE ACCUMULATOR MAY CRACK AND SEPARATE FROM THE HYDRO-BOOST ASSEMBLY DURING NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS.
Consequence:
IF A SEPARATION OCCURRED AND THE HOOD OF THE VEHICLE WERE OPEN, FRAGMENTS FROM THE ACCUMULATOR COULD CAUSE INJURY TO PEOPLE IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA. THE PRESENCE OF THIS CRACK OR FRACTURED SURFACE COULD ALLOW THE HYDRAULIC FLUID TO LEAK FROM THE ACCUMULATOR CIRCUIT OF THE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY. THE LOSS OF FLUID WOULD CAUSE INCREASED STEERING AND BRAKING EFFORT AND A CRASH MAY OCCUR WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.
Remedy:
DEALERS WILL TEST THE HYDRO-BOOST ASSEMBLY FOR FUNCTIONAL OPERATION OF THE TWO-FUNCTION VALVE. IF THE HYDRO-BOOST ASSEMBLY FAILS THE TEST, DEALERS ARE TO REPLACE THE ASSEMBLY. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING MARCH 2005. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT CHEVROLET AT 1-800-630-2438, GMC TRUCKS AT 1-866-996-9463 AND HUMMER AT 1-800-732-5493.
Notes:
GM RECALL NO. 05006. CUSTOMERS CAN ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S AUTO SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-888-327-4236.

Can we do all wheel drive burnouts in it?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Why yes we can...as long as someone distracts my wifey for a sec ;-)
FWIW = it's a 2003. I never buy new cars = $25k + depreciation for the sucker who bought it new.
I'll check into the service bulletin. It's a certified kaa, so they should have squared it away - Good "heads-up".
Bling away - my wife turned down a black w/tan leather the same day. She swore she'd never have a white car & look at us now

Very Nice Jeff!! Denali =
Gas Mileage =

Looking forward to seeing you in May. And getting passed multiple times by joo in my slow kaa.
(might have to get that middle finger point by hand thingy that someone posted for the old MAM thread....)

Congrats on the purchase Jeff. I've driven many of those and they are a really nice machine. Gas mileage sucks the big one but hey, you can't have everything. Now get some twinkie-twinkies on dat bitch, phat pipes out da back, seven TV's or so, big stereo, and call up Xzibit and hit the strip. j/k

Out of curiosity, do the enclosed trailers come with winches to pull the car onto the bed? Or is this strictly an option?
My dad drives a Denali and he loves it. He's in the general construction business and it's proved to be a very useful mode of transportation. I'm quite sure you'll like it.
If you install some LCD screens in the Denali and buy GT4 I'll donate my PS2 to you. But you gotta let me play it a little bit at Expo
Aloha,
Brandon
