What if a group of thieves saw both of them parked right next to each other

whatever they see first. but if ur asking what would they rather steal if the two were side by side. Probably the itr because all of the stuff is easier to sell faster to all these kids that just want type-r whatever......

both cars will probably never be in the same parking lot together... lol

but if they were near each other, what would you rather take?

this is in a parking lot in a suburban nieghborhood with $400,000+ houses

just wondering because im trying to decide my next project... and i dont want thieves to ruin it

if anyone is questioning his motives, he's legit

I think this thread is stupid. Who gives two ***** what's on the car? If there is something that someone wants, regardless if it says Type R or GSR on the back of it they'll take it anyways. I think we are all aware of this fact so why do we have to start a stupid *** pole about it?

I'm not mad at the guy. I guess I just don't understand the meaning behind the questions. If your car is stolen with this part, that part or the other part, what the heck is the difference? A harsh reality is there is someone out there right now getting their car stolen and I don't think they'd want to see some pole on it.

We hear about it every week on here. We read about it in the papers when all the annual reports are released by the insurance companies on the highest stolen cars. What good does it do? You still have a car that someone wants to steel. Great! *shrug

Aloha,
Brandon

it matters to me what i have on the car and it matters to me what's on it when it gets stolen.

and it's spelled "poll"

Gee thanks for the spelling correction read my sig as I give a care. How is a thief going to see a spoon steering wheel when it's (detached) smart guy?

If you would state your intentions of why you posted this "POLL" in the first place, perhaps the responses would have been different. The reality is, there have been many threads started on stolen Type-R's and coming from a guy with only 15 posts, I have no idea who you are. Perhaps you could see why I would care so much considering this has been a very violating and harsh reality for many members on here. When one Type R is stolen, we are all indirectly affected by it.

Also by your last post are you stating that you own both a Type R and GS-R?

wow, u really are a jerk. he wants to know. he already made that clear. do you have something to prove by posting in here with no relevant information? you obviosly do care more about this thread than the issue itself.

btw i have more posts than you do. dont pick on my buddy with 15 posts

******.

Like I said above, I'm not mad it at this guy for christs sake. Did you miss this fact? Please tell me.

No relevent information? I'm the most relevent person you will ever meet. I care about this issue which is "RELATIVE" to this thread because it's quite obvious which car is going to get stolen more frequently. My friends Type R just got stolen a few weeks ago. Also, because I'm a Type R owner, I don't need to be constantly reminded that somewhere out there someone is planning on taking it.

What if someone said, Hmmm I wonder what the atomic structure of Uranium is. With all the terrorist crap going on, would you not be a bit suspicious as to why someone you don't know would ask a question like that?

Also, if your buddy would have chimed in with a reason to the post, it would have been more understanding. The fact is, there are thieves that skim through this site all the time. How did I know he wasn't some guy that was trying to decide on what to take?

I was being the defensive guy and trying to figure out why this community needed a pole like that. That's all. *shrug

I've simply learned to keep a warry eye open. If you have time take a look at this thread and read it through (11 pages long) in short, there was a guy who was catching people in the act of taking his Type R, the post goes along and people who know the people involved actually chime in and post a bunch of BS. I just don't like reading about all the stolen cars. I've had one car stolen, not a good experience IMO.https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1136018

Hands down, I feel the Type R will get stolen first. That is regardless of what parts you have on it that are visible or not. If you have a garage to park the car, build the ITR.

I appoligize for misunderstanding you. Being misunderstood is very frusterating. I surely hope, you can understand where I'm coming from.

Aloha,
Brandon

you can be rest assured any car i take under my wing is given proper, tender, loving care and sleeps tightly in a personal insulated garage

yeah i've read this board a few times before i registered. i used to be here in 2001 but then went to the supra forums. i forgot my username/password here this board has changed a lot since then. for one.. it's more hard on the eyes

such a berated comment.

a real thief wouldnt give a damn which one, as both of them are going to put money in his pocket. He's going to go for the one he thinks is easier to steal.

Didn't you see the other thread, lexus SUV with a type r sticker? A Celica with a Type R sticker? These are all Type R dreamers..

Bottom line is if the thieves know it's a Type R, they will most likely go for it. who care about GSR, they are everywhere. LOL
