Default Question about Hondata+b18b+turbo...ECU??

I have a b18b turbo. i recently bought hondata, and im looking into ecu's.
ORG. i wanted the obd1 p75, my question is can is there another ecu that does not cost as much, that i can use w/ hondata. Since it's going to be tuned does it really matter what LS obd-1 ecu i run?

since my car is obd-2 im current using a p75 from a 96+ and not using hondata, but have it in my closet. My question is i understand that i can use a obd-1 p75 from a 94-95 LS, But is there another ECU ( A cheaper one) i can use.

Im just trying to find an alternative to buying the p75. And will it matter since im going to be changing the maps.

with hondata the tuner can disable the vtec. You should be fine with it
