hi guys im thinking of paint my 95 civic myself. i already have a 33 gallon compressor which is rated at 5.1 cfm at 90 psi. i got it from homedepot and its 5.5 hp. my question is what hlvp gun can i use with this compressor? i was looking but cant seem to find one that would work with my compressor. please help ....ty

Ever thought about giving that site's customer service an email?

 

That compressor is plenty powerful, you'd only be spraying at 45-55 psi.

 

actualy with an hvlp you would only use about 35psi max

 

ok guys ty for all your help. ill try to email that site and c what they say. and some of these guns are rated at 7-9 cfm at 40 psi. my compressor is like 6 cfm at 40 psi. im not even sure if it is 6 cfm. i was told this. my compressor is just like this one. http://www.homedepot.com/prel8...65616 . except its 33 gallons

 

good luck on that... make sure to get it wet sanded and buffed after its painted.
