205 will be flush up with a 7inch wide wheel, the 215 will be a tad bit over. i've had both on my car and you can't really tell a difference, i only noticed when i stood behind the car and saw the overall width of the track.

that little bit of tire lip thats sticks out can make one big difference if you ever come in contact with a pot hole or brush up against a curb. the amount that would actually stick out from the wheel isn't anything major
not to mention the added width is always a plus.

really depends on which tire you are talking about.

It has part to do with the tire, but what really matters is the offset of your wheel. Seven inches wide doesnt tell us jack ****. You could be running a zero offset for all we know. Give some more feed back and ppl could probley help you out better.

my friend ran some 215 azenis on some 16x7 rims. it works and looks fine, only thing that when you turn your wheel all the way, it will rub the inside of your wheel well. well that was the case with my 96 civic.
i guess then next size down is a 205 azenis sport. azenis is alot thicker than other tires though, so you can probably run other tires in 215 on your 7" wide with no problem
pic of 215 azenis on 16x7 rays eng rims. pretty damn flush.

What kind of tire affects whether it sits flush or not as well
