Any advice for cutting nylon 6/6?
Im trying to make 2 differential bushings. I need the tolerances to be exacting.. 4 halves each 21mm thick. I dont have a band saw ( I am an idiot and bought the chop saw...) What could I use to cut it ? And any advice would be appreciated..
Any special tools or tips for cutting it on a lathe?
Thanks gents

Not sure of the diameter your working with but if it isn't too much I'd just use a hacksaw and handwork it to spec. That stuff cuts pretty good, especially with a bandsaw
just dont use a very fine tooth blade or it'll be useless quick.
We work with it on lathes and mills occasionally and there is really nothing special to it just cut it slow.

just bring it to a local larger metal fab shop. they should have a huge bandsaw to make an acurate cut on it. most places only charge $50 an hour and it should only take about $10 to get an acurate cut on it.
