B20/Vtec reliability questions..
I am looking into building a daily driver.. I am wondering how well a B20 with Type R Head, 12:1 Arias Pistons , Eagle H Beam Rods would hold up? Is this a decent set-up for a daily driver or a bit over the top? I am not extreemly hard on my cars, and i have an evo that gets most of the flogging, so this car would just be a daily driven car for me and my wife etc.. How do those block do over time? I would be happy to get 50-75k before needing a rebuild.. Do you think that Cr is just too high for a daily?
Also if i were to compression test that motor with that Cr what would we be looking at? Like 275+ in each cyl?
Thanks
