I had to modify my exhaust piping to get the bolt holes from my Integra cat to match up to my d-series header. The o2 sensor used to stick straight up and now sits at about 2 o'clock. The guy at the muffler shop routed the wires from the o2 around my shift linkage up to the harness in the engine bay. I don't plan on leaving it like this. But I have a 30 mile commute home. Is this safe?

 

Shouldn't have a problem as long as the wires aren't touching the exhaust anywhere.
