Default Aluminum tubing on my firecharger system question..

So I'm reasonably sure that I do not have enough aluminum tubing with the firecharger kit to run the lines how I need/want..

It says on the package that it's 1/4" aluminum tubing, of which there are many different variations. It says if buying braided steel lines to replace to use 1/4" ID(-4AN) tube, but nothing about getting additional aluminum tubing..

My question is, do you think that replacement aluminum tubing should also be 1/4" ID? I've seen it as 1/4" OD, but no one lists the ID.. Some have wall thickness though.. I was thinking it might be better to get 5/16" OD, and figure the ID would then be right at 1/4"..? Or would it be more likely for 3/8" OD to get me to that?

-mark, who's confused himself thoroughly at this point.. i'm about ready to call Tom Turner and beg for more tube.. lol..

I don't know about that system and what it comes with but you can get dead-soft Al tubing from Aircraft Spruce.

thanks guys.. exactly what I needed..

fwiw, firecharger is apparently now defunct according to their "tech" rep Tom Turner.. he still carries parts/resupply stuff(as well as a few other places like pegasus having the refills).. he was out of tubing though, so I'll order from spruce..

It is sold by the foot, which is handy. Make sure you get the "dead soft" tubing (condition O, I think?) It is spec'd by its OD.
