Need info on d16z6 in obd2a ek...
Just put a z6 swap into my buddy's ek... Everything is wire up and ready but car will die once you give it gas.. if you slowly increase gas it will rev but if your at wot or dump the gas it will die right away...We did re-wire up the dizzy, iacv from 3 to 2 wire,using p28 with obd2-1 harness and used the obd2a injectors.. NO CODES!!!! Just wont rev normal.. any info will help. please get back to me on this asap.. need to get his car out of my garage. thanks..

don't mean to jack your thread...but i am attempting to do the same and looks like you got there before me. I posted questions here and in the hybrid section but it seems nobody knows much about this particular swap
if you could, check out my post and add info for archiving.
One suggestion may be to look at your fuel pressure at the rail. If junk got in there or the filter, that may cause the engine to lack fuel.

i did a similar swap and had same problems it was on a d16y7 i put a d16z6 IM on it everything went smoothly until it came to the IACV i depinned the obd2 plug male and female and put on obd1 plugs so i could plug it on the obd1 IACV, but i had one wire left over can't remember the color ,car ran like **** it fluttered at ildle and during acceleration never could figure out wat to do kid still ridin around far as i know

I put a z6 manifold on a y7 block also but didnt have to use the obd1 plugs.. All i did was extended the wires to the tb and left the iacv plug alone...didnt plug that one in cause it was a two wire.. or maybe i did but i dont remember. if i did i believe it was a orange wire that was cut and left alone..
