i just got a gsr swap for dirt cheap and was wondering about wireing. i did a search didnt come up with anything. can i use my stock ex harness and do i need to do any wiring for it to work?

 

You can use your stock ex harness on the gsr motor, the only thing you are going to need to wire up is the knock sensor and the switch for the butterflys on the gsr im

 

ok how do i do that? i got a chipped p72 ecu i think it is comen with it

i have a 93 civic cx with gsr and i used my stock harness....all i had to do is wire up vtec...knock sensor....and O2 sensor....I dont think YOU have to wire up vtec...but i dunno about whether or not your car comes with knock sensor or not. the O2 sensor might have to be rewired also if you dont have a 4-wire O2 plug. i eliminated my O2 since im running a race program on my ecu. i hope this helps.

 

what race program are you running and do the secondaries still kick in? i want to get my ecu chipped, where can i get it done at. i want something to use with my nitrous.
