I am brand new to the Honda. I would appreciate alot of help with parts and info that i can get my hands on(really want to build this car)Can you bore the 1.5 to make greater horsepower? How much can you bore out of it? Pistons any thoughts?

P.S. How the hell do you bump?

wellllll, of course u can bore it, how much, i have no idea, look it up. I'm not sure if all d series parts are interchangable (look it up) but if they are, ZC pistons would be best (higher compression and cheapest anyways). Search for more info, it'll really help out.

A.) don't bump.

B.) I'm sure this question is dealt with in the FAQ threads above.

C.) don't waste your time on that engine, get a better one. Hondas don't bore out well and you're going to pick up - maybe - 5 torque at the wheels by doing so. After the oversized piston, machining, ring and assembly costs you could've bought a B-series or a turbocharged D-series.
