I dont know a whole lot about motors but if i have a stock gsr w/ eagle rods would this give me more power w/o high compression pistons? and if i got high compression pistons what kinda power would i be looking at? and any other helpful mods that could be done to the motor while im gettting the rods and/or pistons in? like valve springs exc. thanks and hope i explaned everything good enough
I think some might tell you that it might help a TEENSY bit if your bottom end is balanced (all rods and crank journals weighted to within .5-1 gram of each other), but unless your rods are longer/shorter than stock length, the only advantage they have I think is they are basically stronger, allowing you to make more HP w/o breaking ****.
And I dont know the weights on stock rods, but they are probably slightly lighter.

If you want to get rods, but keep the stock pistons, and everything else. Then you need lighter rods. If the rods are lighter then the motor will rev alot quicker.
Power wise you wont get **** from it. Rods are to be either stronger (for boost) or lighter (for NA). I would stick with stocks you have now.
