Do all integra type r's come with a air conditioning system?

A/C was optional for 1997 and 1998 model years and became standard equipment for 2000 and 2001 model years.

I personally think the type r's that do not come with the ac system are little faster and lighter than the ones that come with a ac system.

I would say there's a little strain on the motor with the ac unit, because type r's are known for their performance and having a ac unit might change the level of performance even though its not being used.

not hardly any effect just by having it there. as long as its not on, your never going to see much of a difference one way or the other.
