Default turbo timers and alarms

I just got a clifford alarm and it has a turbo timer option but it will only keep the car on for up to four min. I plan on getting a turbo kit in a couple of months and i want to know will four min. be enough time for a proper cool down or if i get a turbo timer by itself, wont it interfere with the alarm's functions. How would i get around that problem with the turbo timer itself.
Thanks in advance.

you dont need 4 mins. Its way too much. Even after spirted drive about 2 mins is sufficient.
