My friend just gave me some ebay coilovers.... and i was wonderin, should i put them on my car?

 

If you want to change your suspension, yes.

 

Ive heard theyre pretty bad... really bumpy and stuff, Id try to keep your stock or whatever you have now, cause itd probably be a better ride...

 

What brand exactly?

 

there called like tom motorsports or somethin like that..... its not a name brand just cheap ebay kinda stuff

 

define ebay, ebay could be generic or tien that were sold on ebay

no. maybe use them as a doorstopper or a wall ornament until you can save up enough $ for a good drop.

i have cheap ebay coils and it would be a smoother ride if i just used a solid piece of steel instead of them

yea true that, but i got mine for 70 shipped and with my 14'' steelies im bout 3 inches from the ground all around...so i look good driving down smooth surfaces, but on rough stuff, its really bouncy

 

I have Tom's Motorsports coilovers in my Integra (only because they were free). There ok, i have no complaints, compared to my old school skunk coilover i perfer the tom's, they are a lot stiffer than the skunk2 were. I have been using them on stock integra shocks for over 4 months and the ride is nice and smooth, it feels like im at stock height(even thou its dropped like 2"). They sell for $75 shipped on Ebay and for that price its a steal(just for the looks that is).

Thats just my personal experience.

 

if you're on stock shocks and don't care if they blow and you want a lowered stance...why not?

 

Think about it... there's a reason why they're not on his car anymore, and why u are in possession of it now.

 

ebay = problems, you get what pay for...well in your case, if he just gave em to you then either he likes you lots or nobody else would take em cuz ebay has 80% crap

they suck really bad, right now they are on my car because thats what came on it

 

i just bought a civic with some on it. the douchebag that owned it left the stock struts on it, thought it would be cool to sit at 2" low. you can't complain about the stiffness, when you take off the car don't rock at all. but they're bumpy as hell...i will be switching to tein s.tech springs VERY soon with either illuminas or agx's

you should sell them on ebay and put the money towards some tokico blues
