Default Si and HF

when i am looking through a summit or whatever i see that air intakes and exhausts are for DX or Si or whatever but not HF. My speculation is that the cat converter is in different places, in the HF it is in the header, so if i were to order a cat back exhaust i would have to fill in the space where the cat would be. I dont know, so can someone answer me and tell me if im right in my speculation. By the way my CRX is a HF.

if u get a header it will eliminate the cat making you have a strait pipe exhaust. thats the way i was for about a week before i could go to the muffler shop and have a high flow cat put on

In my town there is no exhaust restrictions so i could just have an exhaust shop make me a pipe that would fit the space (i have an aftermarket header). And as for the intakes, i have a short ram and i have to tighten the clamp extra hard to get it to fit the throttle body, so if i get an aftermarket throttle body that is made for an si, would it fit my intake manifold or would i have to get a new one.
