Default ZC DOHC <~> D16A6

My friend has a CRX with a DOHC ZC motor, it recently started messing up on him...big time...like for example...if he just sticks the key in, the sparkplug wires start shooting off, it also give a code for cam position, and it would rev up all high and rough and it will die if u let go of the gas.

So he said if his ZC clutch and flywheel fit my D16A6 i could have them.

My question is, does it fit or is it to way off. I heard of them fitting...thats why im asking.

As you long as the transmissions are in the same grouping - 88 & 88, 89-91.

it doesn't matter if it is a dx / zc / si etc clutch and flywheel...

it depends on the year of the tranny

88 / 89 are differnet from each other and then those 2 are diff from 90-91.

Sounds like he needs to check his timing belt alignment
