Default Will 99-00 si header line up with gsr ek hatch with no modification

i have 96 gsr/cx hatch. was wondering if the 99-00 si header or which b series headers would fit perfectly without modify to line up with the stock cx exhaust piping. i have the gsr but it's too short. it must line up with the 2 holes that on the cx stock exhaust. i've try search but can't seem to find the article for my situation.

I believe an aftermarket type r header is longer than the gsr and will be close to bolting up, not sure though

I doubt a 99-00 Si header would fit under the oil pan cause the B16A has a shorter deck height than any B18/B16B. You might need a GSR-specific header. I'm pretty sure the intake manifold on a GSR has a different bolt pattern than other B-series heads so I'm not sure how it is on the exhaust manifold side.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by L8apex &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I doubt a 99-00 Si header would fit under the oil pan cause the B16A has a shorter deck height than any B18/B16B. i have an oem b16 header on by b18b, no problems at all. the b18c gsr has the same bolt pattern for the exhaust manifold as the rest of the b's.

the OEM gsr manifold is shorter than the LS/B16/IT-R. if you try to bolt in a b16a manifold where a b18c one used to be, it'll be too long.
