Why the hell would you want to do this?

If you want decent gas mileage go pickup a d15b6 (hf motor) and call it a day

the accord hybrid gets about 37mpg and has about 255hp, and the civic gets almost 60mpg and has about 85hp. and just to have something new and different.

2 words for you: Wiring Nightmare.

Do you have any idea how much those batteries cost? Not to mention the rest of the motor and drivetrain. If you're doing it to save on gas, you'll be spending more money on the swap than you'll ever spend on gas in your life. If you're doing it to "be different", well, go wild if that's what you want.

i aint worried bout tha cost and like i said it'll be different to walk up on a crx and see not a b16, b18, b20, h/f22 or a k20 but to see a hybrid motor.

make it a hybrid ........... just not with a hybrid motor, for the cost of changing it to that you can buy a used insight or maybe even a new civic hybrid
