Camber kit installment? Shop job or do it yourself?
I have a 91 Accord LX. I hit a ditch some time ago and b/c of it I need to get a camber kit. Wearin my tires down way to much in the inside. Since I have to get a camber kit anyway I was gonna get a set of arospeed coilovers. I guy I know says he can put those on. Oh yeah..the arospeed coilovers are like $80 on Ebay...Good buy or not? They also have various camber kits...I think Imma get the dropzone front camber kit it adjust 0-3 degrees. It was about the same price I think. If I am albe to put the camber kit in...(note: I have limited knowledge of working on a car outside of changing hoses puttin systems in and stuff like that....never worked anywhere near the wheels) can anyone give me the steps and tools I need to put it in? Thanx
if because of hitting the ditch, your camber is off, you should just take it to an alignment shop and they will either a) bring you back within spec, or b) tell you what you fucked up when you hit that ditch and maybe fix it, depending on the shop.
remember, e-bay coilovers are notoriously shitty and you are going to get what you pay for. If you are going to be dropping the car, then yes, you will need to put on the camber kit, and yes, you can do it yourself. It doesn't take much previous knowledge, and any tools that you dont have, you can borrow from autozone.
