Ok heres my problem. I have a 97 coupe with tein ss dampners. I recently got into a accident and now i have 3 good coilovers and one bent one. does anybody know if you can get just one coilover from tein or if you have to buy the whole set. Also if anyone knows if i can send it to them and have it repaired? any one with any other ideas please post because i dont know what im going to do because i have no collision coverage and dont have enough money to spring for a whole new set. I know it may be a long shot but if anybody knows somebody that may have totaled their car and maybe has just one good one to sell please let me know.

 

good luck finding 1 sir. you may just have to "bite the bullet" and maybe buy a front set instead of all 4

 

try contacting tein so the get the answer right from the horses mouth.

 

I will call tommorow, no time today just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this or any other similar situation. cant get it off my mind and just wanted to see if anyone maybe would know off hand.

buy all 4 new ones is the best way...cuz then all the ***** be intuned, but if you change em singley then they not all got same wear...but it still ok too.

Tein can repair them and sell you just one if need be. I had mine repaired by them after I hit 40K miles on them

THANK YOU!!!! Just the answer i was looking for. I knew some one out there had to have gone threw something similar. Would you hapen to remember the price and also if it made much of a difference with one new or rebuilt one and 3 older ones. Im assuming once it breaks in it should be fairly close. Its a 100% street car so im not really worried about a minor difference but if it is deff noticeable i might just have all 4 rebuilt. thank you again.
