blowin blue smoke @high rpm

valve cover has oil leaks around it on the gasket...???

You might want to check out the head gasket too, bad head gasket can be the cause of the blue smoke.

no, head gasket means your burning coolant, wich is white smoke. blue smoke means your burning oil. most vtec motors burn a little oil while in vtec. if your motors not vtec, your rings could be going out a little bit. i was burning a little bit of oil, so i bought some restore 4 cylinder formula, and it works great. its about 6 dollars at autozone, or whatever car parts store you go to. ide definitely give that shot. and if its black smoke, its running rich (toomuch fuel) just for further advice.

Could also be caused by leaky valve seals.

what about maybe changing the valve cover gasket?? could that be the problem? i think it's comin out of my tailpipe cause i can in the rearview...

If you smell oil burning then that is another story.

couldnt the IAVC i think it is be broke and leaking there, my friends gs-t leaked oil out of it and it looked like it was from the vavle cover gasket so he just replaced both and its all good.

The IACV is on the TB/intake manifold, if you have oil in your IACV you've got bigger problems than you think.
