VTEC problem, or so i think? Need Help
i was riding in my friends GS-R and vtec turn over at 4,4000rpm where it should be correct? his is stock, now thing ishe usually shifts at 7,500rpm, anything higher and will hit rev limiter
on my hybrid also a`95 powerplant, my vtec crossover is at 4.7 - 4.8k rpms, and i can take it all the way to 8,200 before it bogs......we are both using the stock p72 ecu also
is there a problem with either one? or is it just me?

Maybe I'm reading the post wrong, but I don't really understand the question. Are you asking about the VTEC x-over point or the rev limiter? Maybe you could post the problem with different wording?
im simply wondering why the variation in both cars? both redline and vtec crossover, etc

on a stock b18c with the stock usdm p72 obd1 ecu....i am certain that the vtec x-over is at 4400rpm and the fuel cutoff is somewhere close to 8200rpm....with the secondarie intake runners opening at around 5700rpm......this is how it is in all my friends cars that have integra gsrs or b18c1 motors and all that....something is wrong with both yours and your friends car.
ya my redline is correct, while his is a good 600rpm off
now should i be worried if my vtec crossover is at 4.7?
what are some reasons that cause this?

it could just be the tachs.
are you positive (as in you have a vtec light or something similar to denote when it goes into vtec) that your engine is engaging when your tach says 4800?
stock tachs, even aftermarket tachs aren't the most precise pieces of equipment.
I saw one accord on the dyno that the engine was hitting redline about 500rpm before he even got near the red on the tach. the dyno printout said that he had gotten to redline, but his tach said otherwise.
I would say that if your tach is a good aftermarket unit that it is probably correct, and you are just not realizing that vtec is engaging at 4400 and your friends tach is not perfectly synched up.
