can door trim off a 90 fit a 88 door?

The 88-89 molding is alot thicker then the 90-91 molding..
My guess is you can make it fit onto the 88 door but there's gonna be gap on top and bottom of the molding..

TTT can anyone verify this info? i had a local tell me he swapped out his moldings and bumper off a 88 to a 91, and they fit fine.
Are you talking about the rubber rub-strips about halfway down on the ouside of the car? If so, the '90-'91 will "fit" - as in, it will mount onto your '88 - but it won't "fit" looks-wise, unless you do ALL of the strips and the front and rear bumper covers. '88-'89 got fat rubstrips, '90-'91 got thinner ones.
Brand new door strips are about $42 from Majestic or San Leandro Honda. I recently bought one for my '91 CRX DX. It's beautiful - much better than the dry-rotted one that's still on the passenger door of the car.
