Default Need a fail-safe method on bleeding brakes

I have never bled my brakes before.
I have only seen it done...I had a friend bleed my brakes for me while I pumped the pedal, but I that was a while ago and I forgot the steps he took.

I have done a search and all I could really find is the bleeding order.

-Pass. rear
-Driver front
-Driver rear
-pass. front

I'm just trying to find out what to look for and what to tell my friend to do when he is pumping the pedal.

I'm really trying to flush out my whole system, becasue I put Seafoam in the master cylinder and I need to get it all out.

plz help

the correct rotation is... farthest from MC, to closest... so it goes

1. rear passenger
2. rear driver
3. front passenger
4. front driver

Longest first to the shortest. Just like deeksmooth posted. but if you have a abs system you need to pump it the correct way or else you still have air in it. You have to use or buy the brake pump to bleed the brake. I sometime pump it where the abs is at or the master cylinder when i do abs, and if not a abs then you go the longest to the shortest. Still have problem such the brake pedal goes down then your brake booster or mc when out on you, but check the line if theres any leak.

Continue bleeding until they disappear.

If you’re bleeding without a vacuum pump, you might want to use a clear hose, this way you can see if there are any bubbles as soon as the fluid leaves the brakes.
