Sir f20b accord specs
I've spend the last two days trying to find a 400m / 1/4 mile time for a JDM Sir accord with F20B in it. I'm planning on swapping this engine into my 5th gen however I wanna know what numbers will I be looking at in the 1/4 mile. Considering the weight difference, JDM accord should weigh almost the same. SO if i can find some specs on F20B SIR as far as whp, 1/8th, and 1/4 mile times I would clearly know whats up. Does anyone have the specs on SIR/EuroR cordie?
Thanks.
Thanks.

One reason is that F20b is an obd2, and with our strict *** emission laws i cant have an OBD1 swap cuz its illegal. So thats why i'm looking into F20B's. Second reason is because its "m@d tiTe jDm y0!!! "
LOL good one

in that case, just get the jdm h22a obdII to keep it "legal" , or u can just convert to obdII from obdI, i believe skunk2 has a harness for that, but it may jus be for II-I only.
i beieve that the skunk conversion is only 2 to 1. And OBD2 H22a4 are very costly. 4000+ If anyone can show me a site where i can buy a obd2 engine package for less than 2500 I would gladly buy it.
http://www.hmotorsonline.com should have OBDII H22's for around $2500
do you plan on keeping this accord a daily driver? if not, then dont even think about doing the f20b swap. my friend works at apexi and had a f20b fully built brought over from japan apexi with 0 miles on it. he spent 5 hours getting one wire to work correctly. he is now currently selling the entire engine to a co-worker for 12gs for a full race accord ---> keep in mind this is only possible cause honda japan also included the full engine and accessories harness to work with the f20b.
stick to your h22 and stay realistic.

if you got "stict *** emission" laws then the JDM f20b will fail as well. if its even close to being as strict as Cali SMOG then it will fail visual inspection instantly. if theres no visual inspection but they do emission tests like they do in Cali then obd2 cars get smogged through the service plug and the JDM ecu will fail on that.
i see obd2 USDM H22 from wrecked or salvaged ludes occasionly and they are no where near $4k. but even with an obd2 h22 your gonna have to get around the immobilizer in which you have to use a JDM ECU which will fail smog or a usdm 96 p13 ecu which means you have to have a 96 h22 though.
either way your going to have issues with emissions so get an h22, and with the money saved on an h22 instead of an f20b, use it to pay someone under the table to get it passed.

F20B is actually an AMAZING motor. it was the precursor to the F20C...it was designed as a race engine, and then detuned a bit for the SiR-T
however based on availabity, the H22 swap is a better choice
