Default 1993 Honda Accord - How to remove the black rails along the doors, i.e. when putting on ground effec

rHey,

I am sure this has happaned to someone else, the jack stand fell and damaged on of my rail things, you know where you put the jack on the side that long black plastic thing that goes from across. I am sure you would remove these for a body kit.

My question is.

before replacing one how hard is it to get off, any directions would be awesome. I have two accords, one of which I am selling so I want to swap it out before I do.

It is for a 93 accord 10th annv sedan with 40k, yes 40k

If you know anyone who wants to buy a 93 accord 10th annv sedan w/ 76k, new timing belt, water pump, brakes, tires, belts, radiator, a florida car but I am in MN now, 1 winter only, aboslutly no rust email me ew612@hotmail.com

No I think you're the first person I've ever heard of that put the jackstand ON THEIR SIDESKIRTS!!!! That's what you call<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Hugh G Rextion &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">one of my rail things, you know where you put the jack on the side that long black plastic thing that goes from across. </TD></TR></TABLE> and that is NOT where you put the jackstand and it is NOT weight bearing.

Jesus, I'm surprised I'm the first one to flame this guy.

It's because most of us aren't e-thugs like yourself. I've seen a few of your responses today. You seem like an idiot to me.

On my 94 accord, there are just several screws along the bottom of the side skirt. I'm sure it would be the same on your 93.

Nice flame, it's a shame he said that the jackstand FELL and that is how it damaged the side skirt. He most likely had it on the jacking point and the weight shifted or whatever. This forum used to be so helpeful before everyone had to flame first and ask questions later.

fyi,
I am figuring the jack stand slipped is what happaned. I just picked up this car in California and drove it home to Minnesota this week and it was from the previous owner. The weight most likely shifted.

I am just going to take it to my sisters work, she works at a body shop and have them swap em out quick.

Bad attitudes will get you know where in life, you think I don't know where a jack goes.

The side skirts are held on by a few plastic screws. No biggie to take them off.

Just don't put on a blingin' bodykit, that's all I ask.
