OT: BAR gearbox gets FIA approval
Can you tell I can't wait for the F1 season to finally begin?
This is good news for BAR/Honda. Several times in the past their innovations have been shot down by the FIA.

Good news, I'm glad it was approved. Like you said, last season saw several BAR innovations being BARred
such as the FTTS and the quasi element on the rear wing.
I can't wait for Melbourne either
Finally, yesterday had JB at the top of the testing timesheet. I've been worried about the lack of pace (but hoping they've been sandbagging

It has been done in the past
But I think they are the only '04 or '05 team using it.
CF casing with Titanium bearing carriers and mountings
Very bling.
