Default SX vs Aeromotive

I know they are pretty much the same thing but anyone have input on the 2 brands? Any bad or good experiences with a certain one that can show that one is DIFFERENT than the other?

As far as what? General product usage? Fuel Pressure Regulators?

As far as the FPR's go I give a huge thumbs up to Aeromotive for having the 1/8" NPT port on the front for a fuel pressure gauge/sender.

Have used both brands and have had awesome luck with both though.

sorry, yes regulators and pumps. I have always thought they were pretty much the same. If Aeromotive is better prices, why go SX?

Our cost on SX regulators is less than the aeromotives, however it does seem to be a smaller regulator. (-8 AN Max on Aeromotive vs. -6 AN Max on SX)

As far as the pumps go I have never even looked @ using SX. Just always assumed aeromotive for that duty.

SX has two different size regulators, one has small lines and no place for a gauge, and the other has bigger lines and a port for a gauge. From what i've seen, both manufacturers are about the same.

I BELIEVE, again I THINK Aeromotive is/was making the Regulators and pumps for Paxton and possibly some association with SX too. I am pretty sure on the Paxton ones though. Walbro makes basically everyone's intank pumps.

its funny that they all look similar.... regs and pumps.

I have had an Aeromotive pump fail.... magnet fell off and got 1,000 chunks of magnetic junk in my injectors.... 14-1 AFR in 4th gear 30psi on a 98 degree day... thank you C16!!

I use SX regulators and yes they have the 1/8" pressure port on the *big* model with the -10 inlet ports.
Kinsler fuel injection also has a nice Hard-Anodized regulator.

Anyway, I have not heard anything bad about the SX and Paxton pumps....

Did I mention that I have a Paxton fuel pump for sale....
