96 type r vs 98 type r

Default 96 type r vs 98 type r

whats the major differences. cams are different i heard. only the the exhaust side is different? and pistons and everything is the same. the reason im asking is my bro is getting a 96 R. so please help and tell me the differences

cast header not jdm 4-1
older tail lights
older abs
larger mc reservoir
i think everything else was pretty much the same.

When I went back today to take pics the car was gone. I do agree 13,900 is a little high but ut does already have everything you want to put on it. JDM front end w/ HID's, Recaros...Its all how you look at it. It was in an 8/10 condition. I have "heard" that some CTR and ITRs can be had for as little as 8K... I havent found one yet.

-96 Spec weights 2336 pounds almost 90 pounds less than the 98 spec

Nope, don't think so. As far as I know, they are both OBD2.
