Default Hm..so that's why.

I was always wondering why the love fab mini me actually have a small collector, I was trying to come up with same style of mani but without the collector. I used CAD to whip it up and see where to cut on the pipe. The result = booo! The cut on this would take days to complete, absolutly not worth it.

Check out the point where the pipes intersect, that's gonna be a hard cut.

An copy of what? the program or the drawing? But yeah, 3d is where it's at on CAD.

It's one of those things you can draw on a computer, but if you try to lay it out and get the right cut the first time, you're fighting a losing battle.

It wouldn't be all that hard to make...but you'd have to just cut it roughly and then grind it to fit.

Have no fear!!!

Oh, and if you can work it out somehow, make some sort of template or something after you get it ground to fit. Then you can get closer to "just right" with a cutoff wheel next time, and have less grinding to do.

this is exactly what our elf manifold was. and yes to make the collector it took a total of 6 hours. to make the entire manifold it took close to 10 hours wich is why the elf 1.0 is no longer offered.

i haven't played with autocad much, we use autodesk in our engineering dept, but i think they are the same thing. i think you can get autodesk free somewhere, i get it from the school so i don't care.
