Default Weekend fun car to daily driver?

Hey guys, i need some help. For the past year, i have been driving a 2001 prelude every day as my daily driver. 2 Months ago i bought a gsr hatchback as my weekend fun car. It needed some work so i had planned to make it a project car. I am now thinking of selling the prelude and using the hatchback and my daily driver. The hatch has 205,000 miles on the body and was previously in a wreck but was supposedly fixed. With a car with this many miles, i feel unsafe in it as a daily driver. Would it be a better idea to sell this shell to get a newer one with less miles or just fix this one up? If its a better idea to keep it and work on it, what things should i look into replacing to make it feel like a new car thats reliable and confortable to drive everyday? I would really appreciate ya'lls opinions, i have been thinking about this a lot and can't seem to make up my mind.

Maybe I misunderstood this statement, but it seems like you're saying the body has 205k miles on it, not the actual GSR motor. Unless the accident was severe, and a hack job was done repairing it, there's no reason why it can't be a daily driver.

yeah the motor and tranny are below 50k miles, so i am not worry about powertrain at all. I am worried about the high mileage body. I don't want it falling apart on me. Do you guys recommend changing any bushings or suspension part or anything?

I'd just check everything, preferably on a lift if you have access to one, and make sure the suspension is in good shape, although I'm sure you have aftermarket suspension, so it should be a bit newer than the car. Look for rust or loose or missing bolts. But keep in mind, there's people driving stock Honda Civics well over 300k miles. Basic and preventative maintenance will keep it running good for a long time.

i would recommend changing your bushings. it would make your car feel more tight(new).
