im willing to bet if you drive it carefully (like you just stated) i think it could possibly last you 2 weeks...i know someone who threw a rod in a JDM B16 and kept driving it, lasted a week...but i don't think he drove it careful enough to not **** it up more

Nope. Honda warranty.
(3yr/36k)
I made my spun rod bearing last a month and around 1000miles, and I couldnt wrap it past 3k. Couldnt drive over 40.

You could just change the bearings. but because you've been driving on it, you would probably have to get oversized bearings now as replacements. Just drive carefully until you get the new motor. I actually have my old B16 block in my shed with spun bearings. Just taking up space until i stop being so damn lazy and rebuild it lol.
It all depends on how much damage you did. I lost oil pressure for a bit in my old ZC and the bearing was catching the rod journal (could hear it ticking). Got almost 1000 miles out of it until the bearing finally spun and I parked the car for a new motor.
i had this happen to one of my cars...luckly i got out of it for 40$...my crank didn't get scared up so i didn't have to change it....i just bought a bearing set and put it on myself...you just need a lift unless you pull the motor out...if you do it...make sure you torch back down or it will fall apart...

Wow 4 rpms? So that's only 4 power strokes per minute, amazing. J/K, sounds like you spun a bearing, Engine could last 2 more weeks or 2 more minutes hard to say. If your planning on selling the engine to make some cash I wouldn't drive it anymore cause when that rod goes, the whole engine will prob go.

Kinda stupid idea, but if he had a way to isolate which piston it was, could he possible remove the injector clip for the piston as well as the spark plug wire? = No fuel + no spark = no load on that cylinder = less wear on the bearing for time being?
LOL, just rock it on 3 cylinders
Is that even possible? Or maybe just pull the injector clip so any fuel that does leak through is lit up by the spark plug instead of just accumulating in the CC?
