When i first did my swap i had a universal 02 and the colors were non-standard - needless to say i got a code. After a few weeks i later figured out the proper colors and corrected the problem - Now i can't pass smog, Idle is really high on HC's.. could i have fryed it when i hooked it up wrong and would it not throw a code even though its damaged?

If the heater section were damaged, the ECU would let you know before you ever started the car.
Are you getting a code now since you've fixed the wiring problem?
Whats the setup anyway?

No I dont have a code now. Its a 4 wire o2 from ntk, the universal ones. On a p28/p72 ecu ( i run p28 for fun, and a p72 for smog

Aight, cool! Well I have another 4 wire o2 sitting here, so its all good.
Question... You wired yours wrong, then correctly wired it, then still got a code?? Because my car has no codes after I rewired it correctly.
Thanks, Ryan
