Default GSR on EG....

I was wondering what is best for brake set up!
swap GSR parts into the eg complete brakes/ suspension?
or would it be better to get aftermarket parts
like skunk coil overs
teins etc...
This will be a dayli driven/track car
what are you guys using?
I want to keep it 4 lug

yo i say you do what ever you want I mean if you are going to swap all that just swap the gsr brake components and then up grade the stock suspension with like kyb(agx) shocks and skunk 2 coilovers. thats what im doing soon.

well me personally i would upgrade all the brakes to gsr front, rear...and then get some aftermarket suspension...but then if your just going to keep it stock hight then switch over the suspension as well

I hear skunk 2 coilovers aren't all that hot. And if I were to go coilovers, I would buy a complete system sort of like the omnipower coilovers, rather than buy struts and then coils. If I were this guy, I would upgrade suspension all the way, kyb struts are nice, then maybe some neuspeed or eibach sportlines, there are so many options out there it is unreal, but it is up to you to decid. But I say go with after market suspension

well, i have did a gsr swap into a eg n changing up the rotors and brake line and dot5 fluid, and to my knowledge it also best to change up the master cylinder and brake booster because the better pressure to your braking the less it locks on you. I did a test and it really help a lil bit so my recommendation is to change up the mc and brake booster to a teg and you will get a better braking. If you think of doing ABS, its more effort but then you have to change axles with the sensor.

I understand you need a couple of posts before you are no-more a trial member.

But if you keep posting **** like this you will get no where...

Now to the other stuff:
Yeah guys I see alot of people using the GSR stuff and I wanted to know how is working for you guys out there, becasue I was thinking of doing the same and use some aftermarket shocks and coil overs. But since is the 1st time I'm doing this I wanted to get some input as far as how the car rides etc...

and thanks for all the recommendations from all of you

I hope thats a joke. I really doubt the 5th lug has anything to do with your stopping ability.

Why? It's ITR rotors and brakes to go along with that extra lug.

there is a ton of info on brakes/suspension to be found by searching.
the GSR brakes are a good upgrade.get some new rotors and good pads and they'll work very well.
the swaybars will help, although you may want to go a little bigger on the rear bar.if you're learning, the stock GSR rear bar will work very well though.
if you'll be tracking the car,you definitely want upgraded shocks and springs.full coilovers are a waste of mony IMO unless you are a good enough driver to actually use their tune-ability and performance on the track.a beginner isn't,and neither are 90% of experienced drivers.some good coilovers(Ground Control)and adjustable shocks(Tokico,Koni,AGX-whatever your preference)will give you more performance than you'll be able to use.

they're okay.i've had them on my coupe for about six or seven years now with no problems.the sleeves have held up fine, but i know(or at least they used to,don't know about now)they use no-name springs which could possibly have a lot of variance and may not hold up well.i can't tell any change in my car,but I'm sure it'd be so gradual i'd never notice anyway.

i meant itr 5 lug conversion bro. obviously you've never drive a car wit a itr 5 lug conversion before because it does give you more stopping ability.
