Default 95 dashboard into a 99?

I bought my 99 LS with a tan interiour, and I wanted to put a black leather GS-R interiour in instead. I've got a black dashboard from a 1995. I know this will fit... but what about the wiring harnesses? Will I have to do any swapping of parts in that regard?

OBD I vs. OBD II?

Does the harness in the dash matter?

think of the dash as a car.. you can but them as a shell or with things included. this is like a shell so you put your harnesses and clips to their right location and youre good to go

You will need to use the tan dashboards wiring harness on the black one. The OBD 2 harness is different to my knowledge.

assuming the wiring harness stays with the car, you don't need to swap anything.

Here:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=954173

we had a black dash out of a 99 gsr (so we were told), and every plug went in just fine to the 94 plugs that were part of the dash wiring harness. a couple plugs were cut off the 99 black dash cause it had indiglos or something, and was poorly done...so we had to rewire a plug to certain wires.

also the main dash wiring harness stays in the dash frame when you take the dashboard off so I'm 99% sure you shouldn't have any problems with the 1 percent being the srs harnesses but that's only if you are using the airbags off the 95 dasha nd steering wheel and not reusing your 99 ones.
