Default A burning AEM question....

Does the air filter rub up against the fender liner for anyone else? I just Noticed this last night while I was cleaning the filter... The fender liner actually bulged out slightly because of the filter pushing up against it... Is this how it is?

I don't have an AEM...but judging by the number of fitment issues I've heard, this would not surprise me.

Mine is fine. How many miles have you had? How dirty is it?

dirt wasn't an issue..in fact the filter was clean...im talking about the filter being pushed up against the fender liner. When I first installed it I didn't notice it because I had my wheel off.

That's only because you couldn't see the damages with all of that thermal wrap that was on there!!

Hehehe...ain't that the truth. All AEM users, please take note of the usefulness of thermal wrap. *Prevents holes due to AC line rubbing*

I know on my AEM there is a way to adjust how far the filter sits from the piping. See if you can do the same...
