hey im really considerin the h22 swap
im figurin this will cost me at least 3 g's
2 grand for the engine
and another grand for the hasport axels and mounts
or i can get these mounts http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...50454
and these axels http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33598
plus a used exhaust and a header. you guys think these mounts and axles are good enough or should i just get the hasports.

an H22 engine is roughly $2,000+- from many places.

Plus what car is this going in? A H22 is a tight fit in most cars, may require modification of wheel wells in the engine bay. I'm not a H22 pro, but I would just buy a B-series. When I dropped my JDM B16A in my EG I spent $9,400 in less than a month. Rule of thumb, multiply what you plan on spending by 1.3 roughly. There is always unforseen costs. Plus my $9,400 wasn't just on the swap and **** like that, I did clutch, flywheel, pulleys, tope and bottom ends (except lightweight race crank) Have fun which ever way you decide to go, that is te most important part of it all.
