hey guys i got a good deal on a b18a and a hyrdo tranny for 600 bucks and I want to drop it into my del sol. anyways i have a d16z6 in it and i believe it is cable. So do i need the hasport cable to hyrdro conversion mount or mounts? what exactly does it do? also is it a pain in the *** to convert one another? oh yeah and can i just get and ls map and burn it to my p28 ecu?? let me know thanks, mike

 

you have a cable tranny in a Del Sol ? If its a stock Si, which it sounds it might be, it should have hydro...

 

its a 93 si which has the d16z6. the 94 and up have the b16a's if thats what your thinking. so is it hydro??

Yes it is Hydro not cable. All Del Sols are hydro unless you did some kind of janky motor swap.

 

thanks man i guess it is hydro. now should I just use a b18a ecu or should i burn a b18a map on my p28 ecu?
