Default ITB's for/with Boost?

Is there an ITB setup that will work well with boost? I've seen ITB's on boosted civics and so on but not yet on the K Series. Is Toda the only comany right now with ITB's for the RSX? And what about using ITB's off of say a GRXR 1000 with some fabrication? Do you think this may work? Just womdering?

fabbing them up is alot cheaper than buying them. My friend made ITBs for a neon out of GSXR throttle bodies. As for ITBs with boost. It seems to me that it isn't worth the money. You'd have to make a plenum around the ITBs otherwise how would the boost get to it. So if you bought ITBs, then you'd have to modify them, so you're like 2600 dollars deep into that project. It's more worth it to just make a short runner big plenum manifold for boost.

There is DC2 on this forum with this setup. it is insanely fast. but he did it right and spent a good amount of tuning and setting up. it has an awesome response time and revs to 9K like nothing.

look to some of the BMW "M" engines for ideas. they are essentialy ITBs with a sealed plenum around the stacks. it's beautiful.

for the k-series motors, i don't know if there is proper room under the hood (?)

You could do it, but you are talking about a lot of cash and tuning.

The problem with the ITBs that are currently available, is that none of them clear the PS pump and some don't even fit under the hood. Clockwise motion is supposed to have something in development as well as a few other companies.

It would be a trick setup.

you're probably better off just getting the JDM ITR intake manifold. Better bang for the buck. And it's got individual velocity stacks inside the plenum.
