Do you have a paper clip and a helms manual?
If so, you can put each end of a paper clip in each pin on the green connector that should be near your ECU (it's near mine at least). It's the connector that you plug your on board diagnostics tool into. It should be in it's own little rubber holder. Hopefully some people here no what I am talking about.
Once you put it in, count the number of times it blinks. Then look that up in your Helms manual and that should tell you your problem.
It worked for me once.

when it blinks... first come long blinks... then the short blinks... (or only one if there arent any short ones or if there arent any long ones... long blinks are 10's... (ex... 3 long blinks equals 30) (short are the singles) so 3 long and 5 short is a code 35... and they repeat... if there is more than one... count the differant ones... there is a short pause between each one...
