Seat Available - VIR 3.5 hours next week
I'm going to take one more shot at finding someone who'd like to do half of the "enduroissimo" at VIR, Feb 19-20. It would be pretty cheap seat time.

I'd LOVE to, but I am still sans licence. I should work on that.

I should also make sure that I have a couple of volunteers lined up to maybe help out with the pit stop - singular. My regular mechanical mastermind is probably coming but I don't think he fits into my extra Nomex for the refueling duties. Anyone want to play? It'll be an easy gig.

I'll be laying around Friday if you want some unskilled help. I come with nomex gloves and boots, and the coordination of a software engineer.

The good news is that it looks like the enduro is the last event on Sunday, so everyone should pretty much be done. The bad news is that everyone will pretty much be packing...

Are you by chance the one that has the white mkIII GTi that sits at Der Wagenhaus sometimes? Odd to see another person from Greensboro...PaRRRker will be at the race in the ITR, and I'm going up on Sunday to watch. I may be able to lend a hand if necessary.

That's the one. Come look me up at VIR and, if you are a NASA member and interested, we could put you on our crack pit crew.

Unfortunetly not a NASA member, but I'll still be out there watching you race kAh drivers do your thing and wishing my piece was out there with you!
OT...what kind of organization would let me run my Neon on the track? I know there's plenty for Hondas (Honda Challenge obviously...) BMWCCA, PCA, Spec Miata, etc. etc. but what about us poor Neon owners??

NASA has classes for Neons. One of them is Spec Neon.

SCCA has Showroom Stock (SSCa) or other classes

You can drive your Neon at just about every NASA/SSCA/BMWCCA region too for driving schools/HPDE, but you may have to sign up to become a member.
I guess a better question is, what group WOULDN'T let your run your Neon...
