Default Whats up Guys I'm new here

I'm trying to build a 10s daily driver. I have a 1990 integra ls and I'm not quite sure which Motor would be the best to do this project, from a ls/vtec to a b18c5.

Thanks yall for any help

Aww for once I actually feel bad for a n00b...

I think it's cause he wasn't a dick or spell VTEC V-TECH, VTECH, etc... lol. He actually sounds genuine...just not well informed.

stp -

They are right though, you're gonna catch hell for this!

Before saying anything, and I'm bein a dick, but search! Building a 10 second, streetable, daily driver is well...you'll see.

Search a lot. Try your LS/VTEC searches, all motor anything, turbo anything, etc. Come back after two hours and ask us some more specific questions. Good luck though, and try to be happy with 13s

Yah we know this man, we can tell. I actually was being serious though, you gotta search first. When you're working with 1.6-1.8 litres (or 2.0+ if you go big), it's still hard to get a Honda into the 10s!

Just search around a lot. We all started not knowing anything...but for a lot of us that was yearsssss ago!

But welcome to "the scene" anyway man. Best of luck

Oh and DEF do not be a dick to members on here...specially if they have like a million posts to their name. Just food for thought...

well since money isn't an issue.. go get a supra or 300z..put about 5 grand into it and you got a 10sec car! heh.. but seriously you'll be working years on a ls/vtec before you break into 10s. and you're at the right place to start learning, just remember to search before asking questions.

By how you right It looks like it is very hard to get to the 10s. Like how much time do you think it would take me.

My car has and ls motor and I was considering doing a block job and get a type r head for the ls/vtec, but I here that with ls/vtec setups dont last very long are they good for big power and turbo

Look I got the car for really cheap so I got some grants save not for a supra anyways, but do you think I would be better of buying a type R motor with that money or drop it on the ls/vtec setup
