Just about everything is better than Bose. Better and cheaper. Try Infinity, JBL, Alpine, Kicker, Sony, MB Quart, etc...

I don't think you can get Bose car speakers unless they are factory installed. Just my opinion but Bose is garbage.

some people say sony explodes suck but, they seem fine to me. I have 2 front doors (5*9) and 2 back (don't know the proper specs off hand), 12in jl wedge 3 250 watt jl amp, and a striker cap.

okay..maybe i don't might the TL/CL bose premium stuff if i can get them fairycheap..

like the other said, there's abunch of better and cheaper stuff out there..but the brands is totally depends on buyer.

Sony stuff is not better than Bose but most of the other stuff you listed is. BOSE stuff is decent but you can get a whole lot better system for a whole lot cheaper from another company. Sony Xplod stuff seems to not last as long as it should and sound like crap while it does work. There speakers are horrible and there HU's are about as bad.

remember the day when sony is actually good? i always wonder what happen to their Headunit all the sudden

 

I liked their Mobile ES stuff. But I guess that went down the drain and so did everything else.

 

sonys the last car audio brand you want to spend your money on. Bose isnt really worth anything either.

 

I've only had Kenwood KFC series and Infinity Kappa series loud speakers (door/rear deck speakers) and I like the Kenwoods MUCH better.

Bose is garbage. The system in my mom's 00 TL is JUNK!! The only good factory systems are the ones that came in Lexus (Nakamichi). My friend has a Avalon and the JBL system isn't bad.
