Hi, I was wanting to take mine off but I heard that it will leave the holes in your bumper? Is this true or is there just some kind of sticky that holds the emblem to the car? thanks

are you talkin about the front and rear symbol or the actuall acura lettering. but it also really doesn't matter because they all leave holes.

 

Someone took mine off for free . Anyone know how to get the glue like stuff off of the car?

i just rubbed mines off or get a blow drier and get some heat on it. if not try a little GOO GONE. **** worked on my bike

 

Ya, i used a hair dryer on the emblem for a minute then i took a peice of floss and started from the back top and worked my way down till the tabs. Then i did it from the bottom and it came off and left nothing on the paint (accept from the holes).

 

i haven't tried it, but i've read a lot people recommending using dental floss so you don't damage the paint.

There are several methods. For the rear, you can weld or jb weld the holes then body filler.

I drive a 95 SE, and I replaced my rear emblem with a yellow indiglo emblem. I simply followed the directions, and it ended up being easier than I thought.
