Default Please say yes!

So I went and checked out some S2Ks today. I found the driver seat to be much closer to the floor and the pedals too far away. I naturally have to bring the seat forward a bit to be able to floor the clutch pedal. Then it really feels like the steering wheel should be higher, bun unfortunately not adjustable.

The ITR seating position is closer to the family minivan than a performance car compare to the S2K.

So here's the question(s): (please answer yes)

1. Is it easy to get used to the seating position for a person of 5'-10", 5' 11" height?
2. Is it easy to get used to the blind spots of the windshield pillars?

I'm 5'10'' and weight 157 lbs and have no trouble getting in and out of it, but all my friends do, no matter weight or height. You just gotta get used to it.

Hey man,

Im 6 foot and I have no problems

And I agree I was tooling around in the ITR today for a change and it felt like I was sitting in a minivan, and I kept reaching for the shifter about 6 inches above where it was.... You get used to a lot in the s2k...for me the biggest thing was getting used to the rear blindspot with the top up, but after i adjusted my mirrors to compinsate no problem (plus I JUST KEEP THE TOP DOWN)

I'm 6'3" and have learned to adjust. I miss the legroom of my '99 Lude that's for sure. Getting in and out of the S2000 takes some getting used to but once you're inside its pretty comfortable.

What about little guys like me? I'm only 5'6" (add an inch or two depending on shoes). Is anyone shorter than average who has driven one?

I'm 5'6" too and having the same problem, sometimes getting my knees bumped into the steering column, *especially* when I'm heel-and-toe-downshifting. You just have to make do, adjusting the seats farther back. Oh yeah, If you do plan on getting an S2k eventually, make sure you don't have any other keys or keychains attached to the s2k key when it's in the ignition, because it's gonna go digging into your right knees....yeeoouuch
