i tired to put on the mounts that go in the frount side of the tranny and motor and the bolts have nothing to screw into on to the frame ... how important are these mounts?

 

engine and transmission mounts are very important indeed, perhaps some more information is necessary, are you doing a swap? or perhaps you are trying to install them incorrectly.

 

i did the swap and those i attaced them to the engine and tranny and went to bolt them to the fram. well one bolt on each side went in and the other one on both sides had nothing to screw into, like the one on each side. feels like theres a bolt missing inside of the frame.
